Enhancing Our Forester Builds
We've been quite busy lately, diving into thrilling projects involving the construction of mild off-road Foresters. Each build tells a unique story of customization and adventure, aimed at making these vehicles more capable on rugged terrain. Here’s a glimpse into our recent projects that have taken off-road capability to the next level.
Forester #1: Preparing for the Trails
The first Forester we worked on required robust underbody protection to tackle dirt tracks confidently. To achieve this, we installed our Flatfour Performance sump and gearbox guards, ensuring the vehicle’s vital components are well-guarded against rocks and rough terrain. Additionally, the customer requested enhanced visibility during nighttime driving. To address this, we added PIAA small flood lights along with a sturdy mounting bracket, providing a brighter, wider view of the road ahead. Forester #2: Elevated for Fishing Adventures
The second Forester was customized for a customer whose fishing business often takes him down narrow lanes. To facilitate greater clearance and improve the vehicle's off-road prowess, we fitted a Pedders suspension lift spring kit along with SuperPro anti-roll bar bushes. This upgrade not only enhances the vehicle's handling but also prepares it for the rugged journeys ahead. And this is just the beginning for this robust off-roading beast!
Forester #3: Ryan’s Off-Road Machine
Last but certainly not least, we turned our attention to Ryan’s Forester, which we had previously equipped with a rebuilt engine and off-road tyres. Now, Ryan wanted to brighten his path with additional lighting. We sourced some fantastic LED spotlights paired with our Flatfour Performance light mount, ensuring optimal visibility on the darkest nights. This build is still in progress, and there are exciting enhancements on the horizon—stay tuned for more updates!
