Impreza Rally Car Build Ready for the Season

We’ve been rebuilding a new rally car for Chris — a 2002 JDM Subaru Impreza STI — and it’s now ready to hit the stages.

Specification includes:

• 2.0 JDM twin-scroll engine

• Special cambelt tensioner

• FFlat4 airbox and intake

• VF36 turbo with restrictor

• Simtek ECU with launch control and ALS

• STI bodyshell with custom bonnet and quick catches

• X-Shift sequential gearbox with flat-foot shifting

• Upgraded front and rear diffs with MAPP DCCD controller

• Kevlar underbody protection

• Alloy sump guard

Interior setup:

• Bucket seats with harnesses

• Fire extinguishers

• Carbon foot trays

• International-spec roll cage

• Hydraulic handbrake

• X-Shift gear lever with gear display

• Sparco steering wheel with quick release

Chris is now ready for a full season of gravel rallying, kicking off on February 8th at the Riponian Stages.
