Fitting a Prosport Oil Pressure Gauge and Fflat4 Silicone Hoses
At Fflatfourperformance, we are always looking for practical upgrades that improve reliability, performance and peace of mind. This time, the focus was on fitting a new Prosport oil pressure gauge , custom gauge pod from Iwan , to Paul's sti along with a set of new Fflat4 silicone hoses.
These upgrades may look simple, but they offer important benefits for anyone who wants to monitor and protect their engine.
Why fit an oil pressure gauge?
Oil pressure is one of the most important indicators of engine health. The oil system lubricates vital internal components, including bearings, camshafts and the crankshaft. If oil pressure drops, these parts can suffer serious damage.
The new Prosport oil pressure gauge provides a clear and convenient way to monitor the engine while driving. It can help identify potential problems such as:
- Low oil level

It is important to remember that silicone hoses are not a cure for an incorrectly working cooling system. Clamps, connections, the radiator, thermostat and cooling fans should all be checked as part of the installation.
