Mikes 555

We’ve carried out a handling-focused refresh on the Mike’s 555.

The factory front and rear anti-roll bars were removed due to corrosion and compliance issues and replaced with uprated H&R anti-roll bars for improved roll stiffness and consistency under load.

Rear anti-roll bar mounts have been upgraded to the later, reinforced specification to address known fatigue points in the original design.

Up front, the wishbones were fully stripped and rebuilt, fitted with new SuperPro polyurethane bushes to reduce bushing deflection and sharpen transient response. An anti-lift kit has also been installed to improve anti-dive/anti-lift geometry under braking and acceleration, increasing stability and front-end feedback.

Overall, the chassis is now significantly tighter, with reduced compliance and more predictable handling characteristics.
